Piggy Plushie Tutorial

A tutorial to make my piggy plushies -->

This is the first tutorial I've ever made, so if you don't understand something, just ask me.

Materials: felt, stuffing, two-hole button, glue (I used hot glue, but fabric glue will work, too), two seed beads, thread, scissors, needle, fabric paint (optional), paintbrush (optional).

Steps:
1. Sew the two sides together (only where the stitch lines are).
2. Sew the belly to the bottom edge of each of the two sides, meeting at the tip of the snout, and leaving the bum open. Turn the whole thing inside-out (to hide your stitches).
3. Poke a hole for each ear on either side of the head.
4. Pinch the bottom of one ear together and push it through one of the ear-holes so that it's protruding about a quarter of an inch inside.
5. Turn the pig back inside out, and sew the ear into place. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second ear.
6. Turn the pig good-side-out again, and sew on the seed bead eyes.
7. Stuff.
8. Unwind the tail a bit to make it look more like a corkscrew, then sew it into the top of the open bum-seam. Sew the bum closed.
9. Apply glue to the back of your button, avoiding the two holes (you don't want your pig to look like he's got dried snot in there), and press it onto the snout.
10. Roll up each of the leg pieces, putting a dot of glue under the end of each flap to hold it in place, so that it looks like you have four little mini-marshmallows.
11. Glue the marshmallows onto the belly of your pig.
12. Paint on some mud or spots (optional).

And ta-da! There's your pig!
